Nem por isso. Quando se pensa nas pessoas que ficam a vida sentadas a frente da televisão no sofá, contentados com as suas vidas, é muito interessante como a condição fisica pode variar. Nao que leve isto como uma crítica, apenas uma curiosidade.

Steal

Devour old films, new films, music, books paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows.

Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work ( and theft ) will be authentic.

Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.

And don't bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said:

" Its not where you take things from - its where you take them to "

Anything.

You spend your life fighting depression; it's the default human condition. The shit we buy, the people we hang around with, fuck and even love are just means to an end, a way to stave off the crushing loneliness that is to be alone and unloved. We buy into the idea of happiness as portrayed by the mass media, that happiness is found through social engagement, through the expenditure of the money we earn working for multi-millionaires that don't know us, don't care. If we live or die, we haven't made a mark on the world.

We check Facebook compulsively, Twitter about our breakfasts and talk to our friends and coworkers about wild parties, prospective mates and expensive purchases: Attempts to show our sociability, our ability to fit in, our willingness to buy into this great corporate dream.

If you want my advice, write something. Draw something. Tell someone something. Do something, ANYTHING, that will outlive this culture, that will transcend its boundaries and touch someone.

Relembrando o 11 de Setembro

Uns dias atrasado, mas o que conta mesmo é estar aqui.

Teorias da conspiração a parte, muitas vidas perderam-se neste que foi um dos grandes flagelos deste século. E é mesmo a estas vidas a que o post é dedicado, nada mais.

Como sempre, faço esta lembrança em imagens, podem clicar na foto em cima para vê-las a todas.

Mais um excelente video, desta vez, filmado com a nova Canon EOS 7D, que mostra o que a pequenita é capaz, entregue ás mãos de um excelente cinematógrafo! Retrata uma espécie de feira de cidade nas Filipinas,um pouco diferente daquilo que nós europeus estamos habituados.

No meu jardim

Ás vezes as coisas mais bonitas estão mesmo ao nosso lado e ninguem dá por elas.

Todos os dias de manhã cedo vou até á varanda buscar as minhas sapatilhas do ginásio, e estão sempre estas flores muito bonitas com o sol matinal.

Finalmente decidi captura-las.
